The Story Behind Zeni
My relationship with beauty began early. I fell in love with makeup at nine years old, fascinated by the way color, texture, and technique could transform not only how someone looked, but how she felt.
Over the years, that curiosity became a career. I worked in beauty with brands including Estée Lauder and MAC Cosmetics, trained as a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, studied advanced makeup artistry, and later became a certified cosmetic formulator.
Along the way, I became especially drawn to complexion the place where artistry, color theory, formulation, and the individuality of real skin come together.
Custom blending became one of the most important parts of my work. I saw how often women were asked to settle for a shade that was close, but not quite right.
Zeni Beauty grew from the belief that they should not have to.

For Minna, color expertise has never been simply about finding the closest shade. It is about understanding how color behaves once it meets the skin.
